The course aims at analyzing the principles and core mechanisms of International Development. A specific objective of our course is to enhance a better understanding of the stakes that economic integration carries out:
- Introduction to the principles and modalities of trade integration
- Diagnoses and comparative studies in the globalized world
- Challenges associated with interdependencies in the economic and financial spheres.
The lecture aims to provide a comprehensive coverage of economics in both domestic and international environment. In addition to the theoretical aspects, students will be given secondary data from a practical point of view.
Texts and other materials are provided to complement lectures and discussions. When preparing for examinations an understanding of all readings is required. Grades are based on oral participation and discussion, as well as a two-hour exam.

At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to develop a structured reasoning linked to development issues.
